(2019) degrees in Urban and Rural Planning from Southeast University, and her Ph.D. in Geography (2023) from Ghent University, Belgium, under the supervision of Academician of the European Academy of Sciences, Prof. Frank Witlox. She has undertaken academic visits at ETH Zurich and University College London (UCL), and held postdoctoral research positions at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Ghent University, funded by the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO).

Her research focuses on the interactions between urban spatiotemporal behavior and the built environment, urban big data and machine learning methods, and intelligent urban design. Her recent work particularly explores behavior-oriented urban intelligence and multimodal human behavior sensing, with applications to urban regeneration and spatial optimization. She has published more than 30 papers in leading Chinese and international journals, including over 20 papers in top SCI/SSCI-indexed journals such as Cities, Sustainable Cities and Society, Land Use Policy, Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment, and Journal of Transport Geography, including two ESI Highly Cited Papers.
